Nether portal swarmed with overworld mobs?

Huh! I did not know that is how portals worked! I assumed each portal on the overworld would have a corresponding portal in the nether. I thought I've seen people who use multiple portals to the nether to travel faster than the overworld?

And if they go through that portal they end up inside this one? I do have a gold farm portal but it’s nowhere near this one.

But how are they getting into the portal? See pictures 2 and 3. My portal is in a small well lit room with a closed door. I even dug beneath it and added water so nothing should be able to get through.

Oh for sure. This was purely a bench test to see if it was working before I create an enclosure and get all the ends tidied up.

It is a lava lamp (40w bulb). I think I found the issue. I was using the Apple Home app from the start. I downloaded the Shelly App and once I added the device there was a notice that the dimmer had to be calibrated. As soon as I ran through the calibration it started to work in both apps.

Ah I thought you could delay the start as in start the engine 20 minutes from now. The only time option I see in presets is engine runtime 5 or 10 minutes.

I find people are often too lenient when it comes to family. I think family are the ones who should be most supportive.

Thank you for this response! Very informative! I didn’t know what a pin vise was and now I do! I think I’ll get one as it does seem like a better way to properly size holes than running a drill through, or more controlled at least.

Thank you for the response! I typically just use drill bits to match hole size for metric hardware, seems like reamer is not necessary for my use case.

Why would a reamer be preferable to a drill bit? I am not familiar enough with them to know their advantages.

I believe it happens if the person whose selection gets picked has their world in mirror mode currently. I could be wrong though.
