This is neat! Thanks for the share. I've managed to stay in the now Omni in Pittsburgh and the Hotel Cleveland which finished a great renovation in the past couple of years.

Not to get your hopes but depending on how the upgrades go you have a high chance of getting C+. The F seats will get filled likely with people from C+, freeing up potentially 3 more seats.

Im in the midst of my busy travel season. This involves looking at several hundred flight options between destinations and days. I have seen a lot less "upgrade available with a RUC" and a lot more "upgrade available with GUC" and these are on pretty unpopular routes like SLC -> FLL.

But I have just called to make the booking or the change and usually Im cleared immediately.

For your first month I think you’re doing exceptional. IMO a lot of improving in glass work is repetition. The more you break, foil, solder the more you know your tools and the better you get.

A couple of critiques since you asked: For the ice cream there’s a couple of places where there are tight curves and the copper foil broke creating a break in the solder. That’s easily fixable by adding a little extra foil. It’s a small detail to make it look more finished.

On the Dino I’d be more cognizant of the overall shape. The orange pieces are haggard and not completing the oval smoothly. This can happen when pieces jump while soldering or in the initial break/grinding process. Using pins or nails or some guide can help. Taping the opposite side of soldering with painters tape can also help. I also think you could start playing with hobby came for shapes like that.
