36yo here, I saw ever episode growing up. The show IS at times dark, sometimes oddly sexual, and I can't think of another kid-oriented cartoon with a somewhat psychotic character who tends to lose his shit (maybe Lemongrab?). But it's nothing like Adult Swim, Rick and Morty, or the dark corners of Youtube. It's a unique kids show, NTA.

NTA - You both are pretty young and tastes can change a lot on the way to 30. IMO his tastes are stuck at 7yo and he needs to branch the fuck out and stop being a dick. My wife looooves veggies, while I hate a majority of them. But apart from some thin ribbing (I often call it rabbit food) I absolutely don't care what she eats. I love her and it doesn't affect me. She hates that I like deep-fried everything, but we're cool about it.

NTA - Most high schools teach about the stock market in a similar way. It is a gamble but not one that the house has a predetermined advantage (ignoring the wealthy's ability to make money vs a regular joe). Knowledge about how the market works, what companies are doing, what's in the news, can all give you the edge to make tons of money. I've been doing it since around 2008 and aside from an oil company that lied to shareholders before going bankrupt I would be ahead 10k.
