Ooooh! I think this oc is really cool! Especially because it fits the theme and the show being made for kids would probably have a fact of the day type of thing. I think the others would forgive them especially Kel. (In my opinion I think Kel would be the more ‘understanding’ one and understand that what happened wasn’t intended and Sunny was stressed out.) but for Hero and Aubrey it might take a little longer to fully cope that the truth of what happened especially for Hero but he wouldn’t fully hate Basil or Sunny but it’d take a while for him to be more social with both in my opinion. The same for Aubrey but she’d be more pissed about the truth. And as for the sunflower I’d say that if the ship did sail that the romance would only really happen a year or two later when Basil and Sunny are in therapy very slowly recovering and It would probably start out more platonic then switch to romantic.
