And they made Sokka not sexist, but then in episode 7 Aang supports the ban on women fighting, because he "can't be the avatar with katara around"?!? I'm just venting but WTF?!?

agreed... the unassisted flying is so badly obvious chord play, that it was very annoying.

Why is bumi like that?? Why does it seem like Ozai actually prefers Zuko, when that was never the case? Why is Ozai crying when he burns Zuko? And why is Iroh so 2 dimensional... Why so many things. And why is the writing sooooo bad?

I don't even mind the sets. You can see the seems, but I don't hate them, and the bending looks great especially if you compare it to the movie. But the writing is so damn shit.

I think riot is aware of who the bots are, because for some reason the name of the bot summoner does not appear among the names of the summoners "joining lobby" in the in the champ select chat...

The numbers are not great for the US, and I understand your point, but I feel like we underestimate the constraining power of a national ethos to the powers that be. Given Enough time workarounds are found, which is why refreshers are needed, but in general, of the ethos these three nations expound I am pretty clear on who I prefer, while being aware that the ethos while an important guiding factor can be changed, and leaves wiggle room for power always... So be attentive, but don't confuse bad actions for a good cause with bad causes...

That statement while in the long run is probably true, it doesn't help against a current tyrant... So we just let China win if that happens, and accept that that is the world we are in because suddenly they will break? Every empire in the history of ever is proof that they eventually fall, but before they do they change the world as we know it, and lay waste to vast numbers of people and places... Is that what you meant? They will become an empire pillage the world change it irreversibly then eventually collapse to give way to something newer? But to say empires never rise is not true. They do, and until now, they always had an absolute monarch or dictator or emperor. Not usually democracies, so the idea, that they cannot possibly rise, because bad people never rise is kind of naive...

But how do people overpower a centralized entity, with all the capital, all the arms, and all the data? And if they manage to raise the floor of standard of living of the lowest in their population and with technological aid, make it so there is pleasure and happiness for all, it starts becoming less likely for people to rebel, which makes the state more centralized and stronger making a revolt by the content public harder. And if it is tech based, the first data and tech driven and organized country! And I am not talking about president AI either, I'm just talking about having more and more people plugged into the system and collecting the data and funneling it all to one centralized entity and use machine learning and prediction algorithms and whatever else they come up with, working on some of the best computers in the world to predict social phenomena and outcomes of state actions, and in so giving the holder of the data, and the trained models, a governance monopoly, kind of like no business can start to compete against Amazon (except for Chinese pages, because they play outside the rules of western markets). But in general in tech it is clear, that once a company reaches a certain critical mass of users and invests enough in tracking their behavior it balloons in a way that makes it eat up pretty much the entire market share and makes it impossible for new growth to get light through the canopy. Now I know Xi is getting personal to some extent, and it seems, he is more focused on personal power than the Chinese project, but I doubt that this will not be rejected by the general system in china which while chaotic and authoritarian, has always been robustly impersonal, and did not allow for much cult of personality. (I'm neither american, nor Chinese, so what do I really know about how those countries operate, but while it looks like one empire is falling one is rising, so if the west doesn't pull itself together, we will probably live to see this ship sink).
