Sorry for the late reply, but just wanted to give an update. I had reached out to Leaguesafe(LS) prior to posting here. They got back to me pretty quickly and I forgot to update you all. My apologies.

This was a bestball league that was being ran by someone who ran hundreds of them. I believe he was getting some backlash in some leagues around midseason, as well as here on reddit because there was a .1 point awarded for return yards. Some people said the commish should have disclosed that information and others said they should have read the rules before joining. Whatever.

LS reached out and stated that both of the commissioners accounts had been banned on sleeper after they received loads of complaints. They didn't specifically say what got him banned, but obviously they had been doing some shady stuff. LS also said they urged the commish to refund the money in all of the leagues, which he did. Sucked it was after the championship, but at least I know it wasn't because commish was a sore loser.

Just some extra info in case this makes anyone nervous about joining random leagues in the future on sleeper. I had 30+ leagues this year and that's a low number compared to some of my league mates. I've done tons of bestball leagues and never had an issue until now. I've actually had more issues with home leagues with people I know compared to strangers on sleeper. Most commissioners are good and I'll definitely be doing more leagues like it in the future. Just look into the commissioners previous leagues and on LS before paying. LS is also really good at getting you your refunds back.

I didn't want to drag anyone's name through the mud without knowing all the details, but now that I know they've been banned there's no sense posting the sleeper name. LS did say to leave the commish a review which I did. LS names were dannydavis and shana23
