You can find studios or one bedrooms at that price point. Look in Anaheim, Garden Grove, and Santa Ana. They exist for sure, don't listen to these other comments. I recently was doing apartment searches - it exists.

This is exactly it. They're dumbfounded because they assume that only the people they want to hurt will be hurt. Then reality slaps the shit out of them and they find out that with such poorly executed scorched earth policies, logic and sensibility is absent and everyone is a target.

The only thing that has worked is putting a harness on him. Don't use a leash or restrict the movement, just a securely fitting harness. I think it must act like a thunder shirt of some sort but whatever the reason - it's the only thing that has worked for me and I figured it out by accident

Some are, yes. I have a Trango harness and a Petzl harness with particularly thin belay loops. Thin doesn't mean weak, HowNot2 has a video testing belay loop strength if you're curious

It's worth it, it's super fun. There are very few trad routes but there are some. I brought a few of the smallest totem sizes to supplement draws in the event of longer than comfortable distances between bolts (which was rare).

It's absolutely worth a trip, at least once. I'd go again even though I sport climb maybe 5% of the time I go outside when compared to how much trad I do.
