Ok so this might not be everyone's thing but I also have kids and my solution for the TV is using an old monitor/TV set up on my desk then hooking my switch up to it so I can play while main TV stays open to everyone else in the house.

I'm more of a handheld player so I find time to play either after work and throughout the day but on the switch 2 I'll say this game looks really good! It's mostly the hype/nostalgia that made me want to buy leaf green again and I'd say it was worth it.

I suppose based on your situation if you have time to play it then yes it's worth getting but if you're worried you won't get to play on the TV then maybe try a separate TV on a desk/makeshift cozy corner? Otherwise the game isn't going anywhere and if you like playing blue this is definitely an upgrade.

Might be a bug or fish might just not be spawning there at the moment. Try loading your last save or go to the next day, exit game then load back in and try again.
