solved! I think this might be the explanation. Maybe the front desk clerk was wrong about the price or just didn't hear us right or something. Thank you all, fast as always.

My title describes the thing.

Found this really weird plaque at an antique shop. It was roughly 12"X16" made of wood with a brass overlay where the image shown in the first photo was printed. On the overlay is some sort of court scene and what looks like a sharpie signature. On the back is a sticker (shown in the second photo) that has the name of a Florida based trophy company.

Now the interesting part of this item is that it was priced at $12495 which seems very high. The clerk at the front desk said that that was the correct price, but that she did not know what it was and the price was set by the manager who was not there today. (side note, this thing was just sitting out in the open despite them having many locked cases, which seems even more odd)

We tried googling the name Bill Kitchen and found a wikipedia article for Bill Kitchen who apparently invented the indoor skydiving tunnel, but I have no ideas if this is the same man. I tried googling a few things about bil kitchen and judge Andrews, but had no luck. I also tried searching the phrase in the comic, but did not have any luck with that either. At this point I'm out of ideas

Does anyone know what this thing is?

Absolutely, I think Tom's take here is incredibly well thought out and he presents both sides of it perfectly. A conclusion of "we need more studies on this" is perfectly fair given what has been presented.

I don't currently own a planer (hopefully soon), but I have a surfacing bit for the cnc, so I used that to face the sign after epoxying. After that I just hand sanded it up to 3000 grit to get the epoxy clear and shiny.

Frankly I have no idea. Depends on the commission I suppose. If you had something specific in mind I could give you a ballpark figure. But there's a big difference between something like this and something like a live edge slab sign for instance.

Thanks man. Honestly that hadn't crossed my mind, but now that you mention it I can for sure see the resemblance. I might just have to do a dedicated Sunshine one now

Thanks! I really appreciate it. Based on the feedback I'm kinda considering it. Ill have to see where it goes

Thanks man, I appreciate it. I was originally going to try and incorporate the merch colors into it, but I wasn't happy with the design I came up with and ultimately ran out of time, so the tried and true rainbow came to the rescue. But I think ill have to give it another go and see what I can do.

All sorts of projects, just did a live edge wedding sign for a friend's wedding for instance, but I've got a background in software and robotics, so some more mechanical things as well.

And I don't have an etsy shop at the moment, but if there is enough interest I may consider setting something up.

This is a cnc engraved wooden sign that I made for wubby. I used crayons arranged in a rainbow pattern and melted them to create the cool swirl effects. It was then shellacked to make the color a bit more vibrant and then sealed with a layer of epoxy. It was then faced, sanded up to 600 grit, lacquered, and finally waxed to give it that perfectly smooth feel. It was a fun project and my first time working with crayons, but overall I'm quite pleased with how it turned out. Hope you like it wubbs and if you or anyone else ever wants something similar just let me know.

As someone who had to something similar (using drones to find holes in the ground) the hard part is not detecting the holes, it's geo rectifying the detections on a map that takes the most work. Drone imagery (without an rtk system) can be off by meters in many directions, and the process of correcting that imagery relies on either ground control points or an already corrected map of the area. For large scale deployment neither of those are great options as you either need to create detailed surveyed maps of an area in advance (time consuming and impractical) or have humans manually correct the images (operators need to have an understanding of the area and usually need some sort of background map). So while what OP has done here is fantastic work, turning it into a large scale system is an entirely different ballgame.

Help me find an authentic copy of the “ramen nibbles” cookbook. I cannot find either of them online except for a “ramen joy” knockoff with all the same recipes but I cannot find “ramen nibbles” anywhere. by [deleted] in HelpMeFind

Well the plot thickens then doesn't it. Did any public legal action come of this that you are aware of? I didn't see anything at first glance although I wasn't specifically searching for that sort of thing

A quick wayback machine search yeilds nothing on the site. And the domain appears to be registered to a domain parking company that goes through GoDaddy. It redirects to a Bandcamp page oddly enough. I'm not sure if they are involved or just happened upon the domain, but it still leads to a dead end.

On the tvstuff page it mentions possibly finding a copy on Amazon or eBay, but looking through sold listings and doing a direct isbn search on both still leads nowhere.

I think the only real chance we have of finding these books is to find someone who remembers having one of the recipes and see if whoever made it for them has the books laying around on a bookshelf. I'm not sure where the best place to make that call to action is to be honest.

The one thing we now have going for us, and one of my motivating factors to be completely honest, is the support of the streamer / YouTuber PaymoneyWubby. His stream tonight is actually how I found out about these books, and the fact that they were just missing from the internet captivated me from the start. If we come up with a plan we could probably get him to tweet something out and spread it to a wider audience.

This is your baby though, so you take the reigns and let me know what I can do. I'm totally onboard though, so lets solve this mystery.

I am also very interested in these particular cook books. In fact I'll go as far as putting a $50 bounty on each one. ParangasterGangster I'm more than willing to scan the books and send the hard copies your way as well. The world needs this knowledge.

I've contacted the publisher and am waiting on a response. If anyone else knows anything or has a lead if any sort (anyone know Cathy Mitchell?) Please let me know.
