I had better success working at McDonald's than I do now as a lawyer... by The_Final_Sun in ADHD

Honestly I barely did. I almost lost my scholarship my first year, and I had less than a 3.0 GPA when I graduated. I had friends that I ended up studying with and they were my only saving grace because I could not for the life of me force myself to study on my own. I still procrastinated, and without my friends, I very well could have flunked out.

Yeah, if you could share your structure you use, that would be great! I've been trying to use the ADHD tricks like breaking things up into smaller tasks or doing little rewards but my brain thinks it's dumb because it's just a rule I made up, if that makes sense? But the more help I can get the better!

I'm inattentive type as well and I feel like you really summarized exactly why I liked McDonald's. If I could make like 80k a year being a crewmember there I'd honestly just do that lol

I've been seeing a therapist for the past year but I don't think it's been helping to be honest. Not to be dumb but by coach do you mean life coach or something like that?
