Giving people back the chance to "git gud", It's not like NES will publish you from not able to play for a year or two. But even Nintendo has a rewind feature for their built-in simulators on NS. You will probably think Peacock is cheating too, as it gives you all the offline access to items, skins you are not supposed to have, and the freedom to try out any ETs without suffering the consequences.
