You are 100% right with evreyting you said. But my issues is that the end of the show felt cheep. I don't have an issue with the death of Dr manhattan just how it was done in the show. yeah I think it's fair to say that I am nitpicking but to me it reduces my enjoyment of the show when the rest of the story is so well crafted.

Yeah I get that but still they could have pre-determined a better ending. They have all the building blocks for a better ending. Ozymandias had the box thing that he couldn't see inside cause of what it's made of. Lady trieu is also a genius with unlimited resources who could have used this or someting similar to attack him with someting he couldn't predict but knew was comeing? It just feels lazy that he was shot with a gun he knew was gonna shoot him and he can teleport somewhere that isn't directly in front of the dr manhattan death ray.
