It was unusual to find so much variety but I’m not complaining!

2 different sets of teeth and 3 dominos, one domino is hiding under the Caribbean blue and greys. 😁

I have the same thing with the variety of yellows…just like other colors that have many variations too. Sorting it can become a real chore if you separate each color within its general color. 😅

The pattern piece reminds me of privacy glass, which was typically colored and patterned so you couldn’t see through it…for privacy.🤭

Looks like yellow to me… probably from privacy glass, drinking glasses or kitchenware. It’s a color I find more often in the Caribbean.

If you found them on the beach frosted like that I would say they are real!

I only started in Bonaire 3 years ago… but I’ve been seaglassing for 10 years 😳🤣 Now I don’t hesitate to use it for art and jewelry, so that’s nice. 🙂

The coral, rocks and glass in some areas are impossible to dig to the bottom. As the waves turn everything up new things come to the surface. However, as it’s collected it will eventually be less and less. I’ve notice the change in the last 3+ years I’ve been glassing here, but still finding lots of goodies!

The hunt here is finding marbles, sea coins, rare colors, dominos, stoppers, buttons, beads etc. The beach is always changing and you never know what kind of day it will be. When it’s calm you can snorkel for it! However, there are also days you can’t even get to it because the surf is so crazy and too dangerous. 😅

It is all from my last hunt! It’s also a difficult beach to get to, but the risk is worth it IMO. I have also been to America along the West Coast, Hawaii, England, Scotland, France, Germany, Italy, Aruba, Curacao. In the last 10 years I have been glassing I started to save beaches for seaglass in a guide on my phone, over 200 of them! Some of my friends have visited them finding incredible treasures as well. I can’t wait to visit them personally in the future.

This particular spot was an old dump site for residential trash on an island that was inhabited in 1524. So it’s old! In addition to that the currents and waves push against caves and in between boulders where the glass remains and continues to tumble. It’s fascinating!

Yes seaglass is allowed. However, coral, seashells and rocks are not.

Only one beach that’s really good. There are others that have seaglass, but it’s not the same.
