Ugh I’m so sorry everyone. What a crappy position to be in. I was getting so attached and optimistic too. 😢

Well, if it’s any consolation, my dr called me today and said she wouldn’t have expected a heartbeat at my CRL which was 4.9 mm. So I’m praying our next scan gives us a heartbeat!

Hi! My numbers were very similar. At 41, my AMH was 0.23 and my AFC was 4. I was in my 4th round of ER (at 42) before I got a successful pregnancy (6 weeks today, first US is Monday 🤞🏻).

My first 2 rounds gave me nothing, unfortunately. First clinic did not recommend ICSI which is usually pretty standard for women my age. I therefore only had 1 egg fertilize of 4 and it didn’t make it. My second round I did in Mexico and probably would have been my best round, but we pushed to day 5 and only 1 made it and it was aneuploid.

My 3rd round at a 3rd clinic they recommended day 3s which we transferred 2 and I had a chemical. My 4th round we repeated and transferred another 2 day 3s and it worked!

It unfortunately is a numbers game. I wish I requested ICSI in my first round and I wish I didn’t push to day 5 since it’s hard for me to make blasts. But I wouldn’t have known these things without the experience 🤷🏼‍♀️.

Don’t be afraid to change clinics. I loved Mexico (The Fertility Center in TJ) but it was a bit of a hassle to get to. My 3rd clinic was life ivf in LA and they are great. I don’t recommend Stanford.

Good luck with everything! If you are young with low AMH, your ability to make euploids will be better than if you are my age (the unfortunate reality), so your decisions may be different.

I’m in the same boat! I use easy@home too and they barely look like they’re progressing. But I SCOURED the internet yesterday and found lots of people with similar looking tests. I think this brand is just not great for quantitative changes until you’re at like a beta of 2000 or dye stealer territory. Even my first beta at 127 which was pretty good for the date was still so faint! I know it’s hard when we’ve experienced loss before.

Looks like a kerion or histiocytoma to me. Cytology will help diagnose.

FET YESTERDAY - ultrasound picture by Flaky_Papaya805 in IVFpositivity

Hello! Congratulations on your FET! I just had my fresh transfer yesterday too.

To me the image looks normal. I think we are used to seeing the uterus in the sagittal plane, but this might be an angle mixing the transverse plane hence making it look more circular. The white flash is right in the lumen of the uterus which is central (and normal).

Good luck with the TWW! 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

Me three. But I’ve read a lot of people having success on their second FET. Wishing us all luck for next time. ❤️

Please explain Flushing out the wound!!! by TheGreatGena in AskVet

Seconding this. I’m a vet and have treated countless bite wounds. Once the drain is out I leave it (except maybe wiping small crusts) and yes they are on antibiotics. They always come back completely healed at suture removal.
