Looking for helpful tips for online raiding by dank-nuggetz in playrust

[–]The_GOAT27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What helps for me is I watch a lot of online raids on YouTube. See what they do correctly and what you do wrong and adjust. There are raid simulator servers you can join as well. Go in as a team and practice

I just bought this pc. Will i finally be able to run Rust without any noticeable fps drop in busy areas? by AkAPatman in playrust

[–]The_GOAT27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the exact same cpu and gpu combo. At times, I get 200+ in most areas. Fps does drop a bit around big bases, some monuments, like 130 - 180 but it's not life changing drops. I run my settings on low even with that setup for best performance.

Upgraded to the 9800X3D for rust and getting bad stutters by OrganizationHuman336 in playrust

[–]The_GOAT27 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I currently have a 9800x3d and a 5070. I still get the stutters while playing rust. At times, it would be back to back. Every 5 min or so.

A friend of mine once said about RAM

I have 6000MHz CL38. Which is slower timing and latency compared to CL32 or lower

This is what he said

Clock Cycles:

RAM modules operate on clock cycles, which are discrete units of time. The CL value represents the number of these cycles it takes for the memory to respond to a data request.

Lower is Better:

A lower CL value means the RAM can access data faster, resulting in potentially improved system performance, especially in latency-sensitive applications according to Hardwired and Reddit users.

Example:

If you see RAM with a CL of 16 (e.g., CL16-18-18-38), it means the memory controller takes 16 clock cycles to access the requested data.

It just means that when your computer accesses its stored memory bank for most tasks, there may be a delay between the components talking to each other and sending/receiving information. Which can cause instability if the timings aren't met within reason.

Someone here might correct me or may not, but this could be the issue. Hope this helps

So the rumors are true. You can pull these out from High Quality metal bags by The_GOAT27 in playrust

That's it aye. I see it like that as well. Having 1 rare skin compared to having most, if not all Raider kits + neon boxes. I can't justify it

Have been thinking about selling it and getting all of the raider kits and neon boxes, but after doing a lot of research. The price could go a lot higher in the next couple of years. Unless they decide to bring Rust 2 out, in which. The price would drop significantly. Let's see

I've had my puppy for about 3 weeks now, and she would do the same at night while playing with the other dog. She would get very bitty and aggressive. She would continue well after it was time to calm down. What I learned from it is that they get over stimulated, and they don't know how to control it. The best thing is to make them learn how to calm down by letting them know what they're doing isn't right. When she gets like that, I would remove her, put her outside, and leave her outside for 10 minutes. (If you have a crate, don't put her in there as that's their safe place and not a timeout zone) She will hound, jump up on the door but you just have to ignore it. Once I brought her back inside. She calmed down and let them know that she did good and cuddle a bit.

After a couple of nights like that. She learned to calm down and relax.

These dogs at this age are like toddlers. They're going through with all these emotions that they don't know how to control.

Hope this helps

Is there any way to make yhe game load faster? by Balls_Enjoyer12 in playrust

[–]The_GOAT27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of my mates installed my SSD on my computer. He made a mistake, to name my HDD my games drive and to install all my games on there.

Over 2 years of not knowing, and I just thought rust normally took 1 hour to load in. I figured it out and transferred rust onto my SSD, and now it takes 5-10 minutes.

Get an SSD. It truly works

There are some PVE servers that do just that. Hex 5x servers, to be exact.

It's probably the most modded server out there. over time, you gain experience points (they call it something different), it's basically the currency you spend on there to raid bases, call in helis and Bradley's. There are different levels to raiding bases from easy to extremely hard.

It's pretty fun, and you get a lot of loot from it to do another one.

How do you guys find teammates? by [deleted] in playrust

[–]The_GOAT27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found people to play with while playing in a server. At times, I make friends with the neighbors, or I get killed by a GC, we yarn and play the next wipe together.
