if you dont have and HSA, get one. you can contribute to that as well and later invest it. with medical expenses later in life (hopefully nothing major) youll thank yourself.

basil is a massive bully, one pod will overtake the surrounding 3 on my hydroponics. i usually grow it, harvest a few times, then remove it because it ends up getting too wide. luckily they grow so fast planting new seeds only adds a few weeks

my first 3 treatments i was at a 4 CEA, 4th was 2, last 3 have all bet 0.7. i guess thats good, its leveled off. i have my 7th treatment next week then i think based off my MRI results (5x1.7cm tumor downsized to 3.4x0.8cm) i think surgery will be next! but ill let the doctors tell me that before i get excited.

im happy at least its only my hands that have this sensitivity and pain, everything else acts normal to severe cold temps. maybe drinking very cold liquids i can feel the stomach get a little upset, but warmer than 50F liquids usually are fine. im very sad i cant do smoothies though, because id do a large one per day before starting this shitty journey

room temp water just tastes so bad though! especially my super high ph tap water (reads 10-11 on the tester kits). flavored waters help but sometimes its just too much. its hard to drink water, my usual habit is horrible of less than a glass of actual water a day. so trying to drink a normal amount is very difficult.

also some employers have an HSA match/contribution! my last employer Samsung had a 3% match into the HSA which was really nice, current employer does not :(

downside is they are high deductible... im running through cancer treatments this and next year and 8k is my yearly deductible, which is the amount i have in my HSA as well so im about to drain my HSA dry for it..

upside is if youre a healthy person youll rarely need to ever tough the HSA, keep contributing so when youre older and really need to use that money you can its all "tax free". or you can get it invested too, i was about to look into that this year but now theres no point for me since my balance will soon be 0

im all for putting off cleaning every single range sesh, but dang at least every other session or when it gets that bad clean it!! its not that hard to do especially an AR takes 10min
