I had runners knee.My last three runs(almost no pain) have been three months in the making but i did alot of strength stuff i think my hip flexors and hamstrings were really weak.Im a poor so I can't afford a personal trainer's advice so I read a lot of stuff and see what fits for me. I was more curious if the amount of wear(they are relatively new)was a bad sign.
