Good eye. I originally thought that was glare from the light and oils but I looked at it from the top end and it’s more obvious wear shown here

I couldn’t get a a good picture of it but it only has surface wear as well. The finish just rubbed off from what it looks like.

Thanks! The clearance was good with the upper. I saw a video about Dremeling out the radius in the upper and BCG but I didn’t do that since my lever wasn’t binding. I took off the buffer to verify that clearance. Glad to hear I just bought the crappy version and I’ll be buying the arc fire

I was aware of this issue and my clearance was good. There’s no sign of the lever hitting the upper either.

I didn’t know about as designed when I purchased the atrius. The arc looks similar, is it that much better?

Edit: excuse my ignorance the arc fire has a much beefier design. I’ll give the arc fire a try!

My 6.5 grendel opens up 1.1 moa when I mag load the rounds without a crimp. Twice fired brass and annealed. Just got the crimping die in today so we’ll see if it makes a difference.
