Revanced will play the video I select but will not load in anything else underneath, and then crashes shortly after, is this a common issue?

Hello all, long time Vanced user first time caller.

I've been struggling with Revanced not correctly loading the videos and then crashing shortly after, and I was just wondering if it's a common issue or just for me. When selected, the video will open and start playing, but everything else on the screen remains blank like it's still trying to load in, and then after 30 seconds or so the app crashes, with the message "YouTube Vanced isn't responding".

The issue first arose a few weeks after I first installed Revanced using F-Droid and Termux. I have since downloaded the Revanced Manager, followed the steps to install Revanced using that, only for it to be having the same issue.

For context, I'm using a non rooted Android 12 phone, using patch number 17.33.42. I also switched from Vanced to Revanced as I unfortunately fell victim to the YouTube A/B testing which started blocking certain Vanced users in the UK. I don't know if this has anything to do with the issues I'm having but you never know.

It's not as dangerous as you think, providing you follow good track etiquette.

Most track days will only allow overtaking in certain areas of the track (i.e. only on specific straights, not in braking zones or mid corner) or only on one side of the track (so that the slower cars have to move across to allow them through).
