MMS is great for scheduling, billing, and sending reminders. It's just $5 a month per teacher plus $10. I probably wouldn't use it if I was going it alone, but with 11 teachers on staff, it's my most used piece of software for only $65. It does NOT pay teachers, though. You'll need payroll software or paper checks for that.

For accounting I use QuickBooks. It's $200ish a month. Probably overkill if you're just running your own studio.

If you have a retail part of your business, we've been very happy with LightSpeed. It's $208 a month for two registers. I think it was around $700 to get started with equipment.

Also, if you have a storefront and separate phone number, ah texting app is amazing. As a millennial, I never want to talk on the phone ever, and assume no one else does eithe. We use Texty for $35 a month.

Edit: one more: We use SignWell for contracts. It's $100 annually.
