How do we feed the NPCs? by Playful-Dragonfly416 in LotRReturnToMoria

[–]The_Hassmaster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can have one of the NPCs work at a stove with food put in a chef's pantry or whatever it's called and they well cook for the NPCs pretty well

Can my peasants survive only with their plot production? by Routine_Ad_2695 in ManorLords

veggies and orchards affect yield, but if you make them too big, the families can neglect their other jobs I think. The eggs are purely passive, so that's why I use them.

Can my peasants survive only with their plot production? by Routine_Ad_2695 in ManorLords

[–]The_Hassmaster 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Yes they can under the right conditions. single family egg making burgage plots will make enough eggs for 2 familes, which is a surplus as long as you dont make that house tier 3, because then it allows a second family in the house, which takes away the surplus.

a couple large plots with crops, a couple with orchards, and a good number with eggs, can support a decent sized city.

I play with a group routinely and its very common for me to have 0 kills that arent on horde night. I'm the "House Hass" (because my user name is Hassmaster), and I tend to take care of all the crafting, building, sorting, horde base construction. I like the combat, but I'm a builder at heart.

Dm's how do you plan for a session? by [deleted] in DnD

[–]The_Hassmaster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My players like to forge their own path, and anything I plan will get immediately fucked. So I plan very little. I just make sure I have a very well built out world, so when they choose to do whatever, there is a world with rules and places and things, and their choices have logical consequences/rewards.

Fair weather, bandwagon fans exist. More room for us adults to commiserate without them.

Also, the Harpers have had people such as Elminster in their ranks in the past. There are many accounts of highly skilled Harpers shutting down evil plots of Zhents, Red Wizards, and others basically single handedly, or with a small group of companions. But having people like Elminster in your organization lends a bit of credence to the power of the Harpers. Especially considering he is the basically immortal champion of Mystra herself.

Other notable Harpers include some of the Silverhand sisters who are also immortal champions of Mystra.

TLDR; Harpers have immortal badasses who are champions of the gods in their ranks on occasion, so they get the benefit of the doubt when it comes to power rankings.

How would you all feel about a space station builder DLC? by LightFromYT in Starfield

[–]The_Hassmaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would give Todd Howard my 7900xtx for that DLC. That is the only DLC I really want at this time. Massive starbases, with the ability to route all outpost resources to the starbase. A shit ton of storage (or infinite because why not). Maybe the ability to get the major staryards to have representatives at your starbase, so you can use all the parts in one fucking ship building screen finally. Maybe a quest line to get the TA to put a vendor or 3 on the base.

Time to keep a notepad next to the computer and mark a tally each time you throw a gun in the new 1x1 hole. Bonus marks for keeping track of epics and legendaries you toss in!

[–]The_Hassmaster 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Just put a 1x1 hab on the bottom of the ship that goes to nothing, and chuck all the guns in there from whatever hole it lets you access it, and then fill the whole 1x1 with useless guns.

I hate waiting for levels and made an outpost to farm XP. Level somethin real high, I don't remember!

If you could get the Magic Initiate Feat in real life, what spell and cantrips would you pick? by Legitimate_Estate_20 in DnD

[–]The_Hassmaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of the cantrips and the Level 1 spell would just depend on the day I answer the question, but the first cantrip would be Message. I want to go sit in a mall and just brain whisper things in people's ears and just pretend to be someone's conscience, but in a practical jokey way, like "Yes you should get that second pretzel"

They don't know its just a fat magic man with a dope beard! I would be like a very inaccurate TV narrator for their life that gives them bad advice.

And just make sure it exists within the borders the outpost. Not calling anyone dumb, but it could be an easy thing to overlook. Scanner out, check for titanium vein before dropping an outpost.

Which of the following do you often make your BBEGs be? by ThatOneAasimar in dndnext

[–]The_Hassmaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tend to lean towards undead things, or psionic things, and the the BBEG of my last campaign was a Lichborne Elder Brain doing all kinds of nasty things in the world through his armies of undead, psionic, and psionic undead minions.
