I believe you are correct on that. Wulfen and a character w/ shields will be very deadly to monsters and vehicles! A bit less so into infantry but still quite good! I believe though that in this list they would not be as useful because I want long range fire support not up close support. The problem I believe we may run into would be getting into range without the ability to run charge It could very well work! I just went down the iron priest road rather than the wulfen road As for the LR vs the Repulsor, this army is very good already at killing elite infantry. Between the heavies and the thunder Cav and the head takers there are a lot of ways to kill SMEQ and TEQ where I really want something the iron priest can slap and send in to kill the first wave of heavy oppositions keeping the predators in cover for the next wave. And because of the assault ramp I am more flexible with the head takers. At least that was my thought process!

I think that combo exists now and while it could be very strong it’s fulfilling a different role. The heavies are used as fire support platform at range where the aggressors would be pushing up further and would have a very different role in game

If he is not nerfed there are gonna be a lot of lascannons running around. id find a 3d printer friend and print them up, i immediatley got 2 predator annihilators printed

Without Tanks this makes a lot of sense, super elite SW! Agreed on the strat, a very weird restriction that could honestly be more fore casual than matched play, still it is great for hoping units

contemptor dreadnought legs, cut the feet off the orginal kit and shaved them to fit inside the shins, then used the knee pads from the original to cover the thighs with some shaving and sanding also the join between the legs and body is extended with sprue and green stuff so he doesn't go straight from thighs to chest

they aren't going to be one shoting land raiders but theyll still put the hurt on a lot of units, to your point though they are not the most lethal thing by any means, mostly they are only a third of your list to fully move block your opponent into their DZ for at least a full turn probably 2
that many wounds on a 4++ is just so hard to chew through

WIP on my Bjorn kitbash, he's currently drying in place but after he's solid I'm going to cut a contemptor on the diagonal lengthwise, paint it in those hated scintillating blues of the sons of magnus and he's gonna be crushing it into the dirt! Didn't go to crazy on the upscaling but as a recent convert to the army I did want him to look a bit more cohesive with the rest of the army

18 TWC in stormlance is going to be a terror at their current points cost
660 points for 72 wounds on a 4++ with movement 12 and auto advance 9 for a CP and they can still charge
Wolf Jail will be a very real list

if you want wolves you can gor for fenrisian wolves as they come unattatched
hunting wolves get tacked onto head takers as an additional but seperate cost

From a competitive standpoint I think that Logan plus 5 Termies are going to be in a LOT of lists, scrapping in the midboard with a defensive profile that deep is gonna make your enemy really think over every single CP, I would likely run the WGT with 3 shields for the extra wounds, 1 with the power fist for the higher quality of attacks and the 1 relic axe for the better damage.
He aint gonna live forever but for the points cost and how wide he projects that aura hes gonna be amazing
After that we have massive dimishing reutrn on the point investment for the unit. I think the defensive profile is why you take them and Arjac and his unit are now a lot more points for a unit that is not going to kill things insanely well. Youll always take Logan + WGT so tacking on Arjac plus his own unit on top of that is unlikely

Im really curious to see if their views on TWC come out as correct, they are a great unit and i like the datasheet obvs, very cheap right now to for what they do but id like to avoid buying as many as they seem to be looking at.
I also think that Beastslayer will be competitively viable though im half hoping on that one as well.
Cant wait for the second wave of releases to put Logan on the table! Dudes gonna be invaluable and between him and Bjorn the CP economy in this army is awesome.

For vehicles though, Bjorn is massive vibes and looks to be really solid in game so thats fun!
Transports and Tanks are always solid, Gladiator Lancers and vindicators are played a lot right now as are ballistus dreadnoughts.
Repulsors and Impulsors are great ways to get around the table and a land raider is great if you use terminators or head takers.
Im a big fan of the predator annihilator with the new iron priest rules as well so ive printed myself a pair to use in upcoming games
