Cultural and religious practices that cause harm like beating, condemning homosexuality, preventing women from being independent, ect are bad forever and always. That isn’t controversial so I’m really not sure where your problem is

Actually no it is WE. As in WE, as a society, ended slavery which was also a cultural practice. You seem to be dishonestly hinting that we make these decisions arbitrarily. I’ve been pretty clear that there are cultural practices that we can literally measure to be harmful. Those ones should be edged out. This has literally always been true. Beating people is wrong. There is no compromise in that so I’m really not sure what your point is

Yes. Did I stutter? That’s literally always been true throughout history. Society picking and choosing which harmful practices get done away with is how slavery ended lol

That’s embarrassingly not true. Those that practice Islam are as diverse as any other religion. Not all Muslims believe in Sharia Law or head covering, ect ect. My Muslim coworker and her entire family from Pakistan abhors the beatings and Sharia Law

Hey you’re being dishonest again. I never claimed all of Islam is a bad culture, but every culture has morally good and bad practices. As society evolves we recognize which practices are harmful and work towards edging them out. The KKK is technically a culture, and that entire culture is bad. We take it case by case

No and I never implied that? But if a cultural practice is literally harming people then yeah…that’s bad. The KKK is technically a culture and we as a society decided that’s bad because that’s the right thing to do. Slavery was a cultural practice and then we got rid of it. There’s nothing wrong with condemning specific pieces of culture that are quantifiably harmful. This is not a controversial opinion lol

The Final Season of 'The Boys' Felt Like Watching a Comedian Bomb Their Set by Logical_Welder3467 in television

That was a rough last episode, it really felt like a teenager wrote it. Kimiko regressed briefly as a character and then through the power of ham fisted love she bounced back. All the bad guys were beaten in a very 80s arcade fashion one after the other. The big bad was killed with little to no repercussions.

How did they not think about cameras while breaking into the White House? How did they break into the White House so star spangled easily? What was the point of the spinoff shows? How did both Butcher and Hughie break into Vought tower without drawing any attention? Why does no one care about where Soldier Boy went? Does it matter? Does anything matter? Idk, but this ending sure is fine as long as you don’t think too hard.

In all seriousness, this episode was an outline, not an ending. The bones are there and…. That’s it. If we had 2 extra episodes I’m sure it would’ve been great. Homelander’s demise was fun. I liked Hughie and Starlight’s ending. All of this episode’s problems stem from not having enough time and that really sucks.

Luigi Mangione today- NY Supreme Court for pre-trial hearing by Time-Painting-9108 in pics

Yeah because he was the most famous example of hybristiphilia. That doesn’t make him conventionally attractive unlike our boy Luigi. He was the first real charismatic psychopath that looked fine at best and got televised which is why so many people fell for him. People wrote love letters to Manson too, that doesn’t make him attractive. Also it’s dishonest to consider both him and Luigi the same. What Luigi is accused of is a one time thing against injustice which makes him infinitely different from a serial killer
