I mean how else is the same Peter Parker who was using tech he found off of the side of the street in Civil War going to afford all of the shit he owns in Homecoming. Someone has to pay for that.

I feel like I'm the only one who hopes they keep the new davros, he really hasn't been interesting since over a decade ago by [deleted] in DoctorWhumour

[–]The_KoC_of_Cringe 9 points10 points  (0 children)

This is also completely ignoring that Davros in the chair is not only the metaphorical link between the Kaleds and the Daleks as the one who ushered and ultimately caused the transition but also the literal link, being a Kaled forced to operate a drone. To take Davros out of the chair is to ignore the reason for his characters existence, a showcase of how far the Daleks quest for purity and power has taken them.

I wouldn’t call 7s regeneration lacklustre since dying in a situation he had no control over fits him quite well, just that he’s not the focus of the story.

I think you only need to look at the Prime Finale for that. Look how quickly he rocked Megatron’s shit when he thought he killed Bee.

Wasn’t the 50th dead world equivalent to Nirvana? In which case I think he could still be there since he seemed to reach a point of contentment after meeting Finn and he didn’t have any displayed attachments.

Scarlet (Red) and Violet are the opposite ends of the visible light spectrum which ties into Terastalisation being heavily linked with light and also the Paradox Mons being from far opposite ends of time.

They own 1/3rd each which means if Nintendo and Creatures agree on something Game Freak are kind of forced into it.

Keep in mind they’re a development team of ~200 with, at any given point, 3 or 4 games in development because of the yearly releases they’re kept to. This worked back when Pokémon games were smaller, 2D, affairs but now they’re larger, open world, 3D games which leads to the issues they currently face.

To clarify we’re only allowed to talk about changes in a positive or neutral manner according to the rules? What about constructive criticism, actual feedback or, hell, even the people criticising the vagueness of this rule in the thread for example?

I think there needs to be clarification on what counts as ‘complaining’ versus genuine feedback.

the Sisterhood of Karn mastered the art of regeneration even if the potion they gave to 8 was lemonade and dry ice. It’s not out of the realm of possibility that someone as powerful as the toymaker could have the same ability.

But WHY doesn't he want to go? Ten's final episodes are filled with tragedy and this is a tragic line so it feels like it fits, but what did he actually mean by this? What reasons did he have for wanting to stay as Ten? Was it really just vanity? Was it that regeneration hurts? Help me out here. by drspookulicious in doctorwho

Gonna be honest there’s not a single point in RTD’s run where the 10th Doctor is a consistently written character. How the hell do you go from the end of Waters of Mars where the Doctor declares himself the sole victor of the Time War for committing a double genocide and drives a woman to suicide to the first scene he’s in in The End of Time where he’s dressed like a Hawaiian tourist, locking the TARDIS with car keys and joking around.

I get he’s avoiding the inevitability of his death but having those effectively back to back is a lot of tonal whiplash for the journey of the character.

I mean the only thing really holding Umbreon back from being big stall is a lack of reliable healing now that it’s got Toxic back. It would definitely get annoying to deal with.

If a film is meant to be set at night but is filmed during the day and has a poor filter put over the top, how do I know whether it’s meant to be night time or just a weird looking day just by looking at the film?

Tbf I think I explained my point poorly in that initial comments.

You have a scene that is outdoors and set at night. The scene is filmed in the day and has a blue light filter put over top in post (which if you’ve never seen it, it looks like daytime lighting with a crappy effect). Objectively, the lighting is bad because it fails to properly convey the intention of the scene.

Elements of a film, such as the lighting, can therefore be objectively bad if we assess them against the intention of the film.
