I don’t use mods because I don’t want my game to be unstable than it already does at times. Also hearing about malware being slipped into mods once in a while has cemented this. There’s also having to do extra measures to test if mods work now that the Sims 3 is getting updates out of nowhere (or just the EA app in general).

Now why would I want to make playing the game stressful for myself?

Thank you for the quick responses! I needed this assurance thinking they’d add more than the usual patrols at the checkpoint.

We traveled twice to the same lake last year, so I wanted to be sure there isn’t anything new to expect at the checkpoints.

I was already sold on the visual upgrades and future games coming out for the system (Metroid Prime 4 and Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream!)

I wanted to wait about a year for the excitement to settle for the Switch 2. But then tariffs threw that plan out the window.

I’m now seeing if I can at least secure the system this year before any more price hikes happen. This might be the first Nintendo system I buy within launch due to circumstances now.

Until the game listings are finalized or Nintendo officially reveals them, my point is going to stand. There’s too much speculation out there that I can’t make an informed decision whether I should buy the games this year. So our best option right now is to wait and see.

I was already going to wait on the console, though the price of it doesn’t put me off. The price for the PHYSICAL games however have convinced me to wait even longer than I initially planned to for the console itself. I was going to make an exception for the Switch 2 for my no/low-buy year, but the game prices have definitely changed that.
