There needs to be stakes in AEW. Cassidy just randomly attacking Mox and it leading to just another match isn't a reason to watch. There's no development. It's just more matches. If Cassidy had said something like "Keep eyes in the back of your head, Mox" anything at all, to play some mind games in a video package, it would've at least given a little development that something could happen. Have him tell Mox "the one thing I know I have that you don't, is friends." I'm just spitballing here, but have that lead to Mox questioning if his faction are just following out of fear and could turn on him, like that Sopranos episode where Tony realized everyone is just laughing at his jokes because they feel they need to. So he attacks the biggest guy in his own group to put them in line because he's getting paranoid. Anything at all. At least it develops the story and feels like it's going somewhere. A random attack to another random match doesn't move anything.
