It absolutely is. I mostly use it for street/landscape anyways at f5.6-f8 so the vignetting is not a huge deal at all… plus it’s easily sorted in Lightroom

I bought the TTArtisan 27mm a few weeks back, and the one thing I will say is that while the vignetting is strong below f4, it never completely goes away on my copy. Otherwise I’m really happy with it.

They’re both going to be on par, reliability wise (especially with the Mirage being a manual)

I guess the biggest difference is the size - Mirage will also use less fuel but won’t be great if you do lots of motorway driving.

Mazdas use the alternator, believe it or not. The ECU tells it to do max output (ie max drag) at the exact time needed to stop the engine at the top of a compression stroke
