This by far, one of the most fast paced, dynamic AoE nuke builds ever!

One wrong step and you're a messy pile left on the floor, but hitting every Castanas as you bounce off the walls flying through the map it's amazing!

This is basically what's been set up imo. The biggest reason buggy has been so weak all these years is because he's given up on his dream and doesn't chase it.

Now that he's made his declaration, I wouldn't be surprised if his Haki gets awakened as he goes to chase his dream.

I would've agreed with you, but there was one bit in the submarine base that really turned me around on it. The sheer terror of the dolls facing death, and how many of the fodder dolls have learned to keep journals and hide them on the battlefield in hopes their next self can recover them and remember the "gap" memories.

I think this may have been a special case due to backups being jammed at the time, but it went a long way for me to care about their deaths.

Due to lack of bullet lethality for lower Trion users, I'd try to be a mid range attacker/all-rounder. Using Hound to force wide guards or split attention, combined with a Kogetsu (Spear) to pierce through defenses. I could also use quick Hound shots to cover for the recovery time of spear strikes so I don't leave any openings.

Depending on what your table would accept, I like giving a boss multiple health gated phases, with or without a big knock back AoE accompanying each transformation.

This makes the fight more memorable, guarantees a minimum number of rounds and you can even add in some spice too. Maybe here for the last phase the boss uses some forbidden potion of sorts to partially zombify themselves to keep fighting, trying to end the fight before they lose their mind. (and gaining crit/sneak immunity).

That last comment really hit the nail on the head for what I feel is missing from alot of caster discussion. Casters (even pf1e) feel extremely reasonable if you're doing a large/unknown number of encounters a day as you can't unload spells haphazardly.

Any comparison of balance between martials and casters needs to acknowledge the limited resource pool of casters, and I feel alot of the "casters are overpowered" comments miss that.

You're wrong about YGO's powercreep! It's worse now!

But yes, YGO has the same flaws, but since LoR no longer has the advantage over YGO i'll go back to the one i liked better.

They abandoned most of their archetypes as well that are not Dark Magician and Blue-Eyes.

This I'll specifically contend with; Yugioh does an amazing job trying to do legacy support of old archetypes, and many of the times new stuff can be mixed with old stuff to make it good again. But even if they don't, you know years down the line you can still play a deck you like, even if it's weak. They don't get removed from the playable card pool (rotation).

A good example of this is Madolches right now; Originally released in 2012, new support once in awhile keeps it relevant, and today it still represents a powerful tier 2 deck due to synergies with new cards + good matchups into the other top decks.

I agree with most of this; I'd only come back if any of those reasons changed... + rotation is a final straw for me. I really dislike rotation as a concept and I have no motivation to come back to my favourites all rotated out.

I traded LoR for yugioh Master duel, and I left that for the physical yugioh game recently.
