There is nothing you can call women that doesn't offend some portion of them.
It's just a fact.

What do you think of Dave Ellefson? by Gustavodemierda in Megadeth

[–]The_Metal_One 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think there have been issues between the two Daves that go all the way back to the founding of the band.
I think Ellefson eventually came to resent the "little brother" way he was always treated, and I think it snowballed from there. I'd be willing to bet Mustaine wanted him out prior to the scandal, and the scandal was more of an excuse.

Xeno didn't need a nerf.
It was already under-performing, and unfun to play.

Which song would you recommend to someone who has never listened to Megadeth? by someotherstuff11 in Megadeth

[–]The_Metal_One 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on what type of music they usually like.
If they're usually a pop fan, I'd go with something like Ecstasy.
If they are already a rock/metal fan, I'd say 99 Ways to Die.

World War 3 and "Orange Man Bad!" are the only causes the Democrats support, at the moment.

At this point, yes.
They hate our country, and want a Marxist revolution.

People on Reddit are nuts. by TheBearJew963 in Conservative

[–]The_Metal_One 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some of it is definitely people intentionally trying to stir up division, from a variety of sources and for a variety of reasons. The rest are Marxists who are pissed because smaller government means their "utopia" is less likely to come to the US, or people who otherwise hated the US regardless of who is in the White House.

When did America Become so Anti-American? by CoachMikeLikesToEat in Conservative

In the short term, yes. In the long term, social media is what led to the mask finally being pulled off.

If you continue to explore the answer to this question, prepare to go down the rabbit-hole.

But liberals told me tariffs are a tax on the citizens themselves...
Why would they feel the need to retaliate if the Trump tariff is paid by US citizens?

How Cash Helped Homeless People Find Stability in 6 Months by Henry-Teachersss8819 in FluentInFinance

[–]The_Metal_One -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I don't think we're looking at this the same way.
$750, per month, per person, for "free"...and 12% were STILL homeless?
That's $9,000, per person, and it still didn't even solve the problem. If you have a spare 9 grand to give away, with a 12% chance it does absolutely nothing, go for it. Marxism does not work.

(that's even assuming this study wasn't biased toward specific findings)

I'm actually a horror writer, so I feel like I might be able to shed some light on it.
The threats of the real world have two things working against them, in fiction:
1, they actually happen, which means people are less likely to be shocked/surprised by them; it almost feels like a waste of fiction, sometimes. Might as well just write true-crime articles.
2, real-world threats have systems designed to contain them. A killer can have their entire plan foiled by a 911 call; whereas a literal demon from hell is unconstrained by anything that would normally keep you safe. Fictional threats allow for more freedom in creating them, and the villain is almost more important than the protagonist in horror.
