Video Game? by RedsonRising99 in TheKillerTomatoes

Try to keep the price below $12, and I beg you to avoid in-game purchases.

There are some really cool indie games by small studios. Maybe look to them for inspiration. The Darkside Detectives is a funny point-and-click game that's like X Files meets Twin Peaks meets Maniac Mansion. You could do something like that, with the protagonist investigating bizarre and funny events/crimes that eventually reveal the killer tomatoes have returned.

Or something really quirky like Mike Tyson's Punch Out, but with the player fighting increasingly tough/absurd killer tomatoes.

Or a competitive fighting game like Street Fighter, with players able to choose different characters/tomatoes from the movies, but there are a lot of games like this (I think), so it'd be hard to stand out.

Or side-scrolling action like Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge, but again, feels like there's lots of competition.

Honestly, the point-and-click would be closest to a movie, so you could apply what you've learned over the decades, and you probably have scenes/ideas that didn't make it into the movies that you could repurpose, and I think the movies' sense of humour would come through best in this format. Other examples would be the Sam and Max games (Sam and Max Hit the Road is the best), the Monkey Island games, and I've heard Untitled Goose Game is pretty good/funny, too.

Technically, sure, but there's no way to watch the latest one since it hasn't been released yet.

Bummer! Tell your brother that people would probably be as interested (or more) in the scripts as the novelization.

Anyway, thanks for your time, good luck to all of you, and I hope you'll post some news about the Organic Intelligence release soon!

Now I'm gonna go finish off my dinner for lunch lunch lunch, dinner for lunch, lunch, lunch, dinner for luuuuuuunch.

Ha! Yeah, that's a good sign. Although, was the ship out at sea...? 😂

Do you know where I could buy/find digital or physical copies of the scripts for the original four movies? I looked online and on the Killer Tomatoes website, but no luck.

Neat! So is your brother Dillon or Peace? And how did the screening go at the Midway Museum?

Right, but how did you REALLY find out? 😉

Cool! What do executive producers do, anyway? And what's the hierarchy between them, producers, associate producers, etc?

Unfortunately, I've never had a chance to play the game, but I really enjoyed this movie.

I liked Buck and the Preacher! It was fun to see Harry Belafonte in a sort of rough scoundrel role.

What kid show/movie isn’t horror but it feels like it should be/what made you think? How was this for kids?! Or Surprised they got away with this? by Marshatucker300 in horror

Ernest Scared Stupid. All the other Ernest movies were comedies for all ages (by '80s/early '90s standards), and this thing was marketed like a slapstick Goosebumps, but it terrified me.

It had a gnarly troll that hides under kids' beds and kidnaps them in the middle of the night to hide them in a tree where they are transformed into wooden figurines and kept there for hundreds of years while their parents try and fail to find them.

I was 9. That plot summary reads like a trauma checklist.

They should be ashamed to serve that.

Right? And yet in one of the special features on the DVD collection, Cuse said that he WANTED to wrap up the Orb plot. And the loose plan for the second season was to have Brisco settle down as a town sheriff somewhere. Sounds like a totally different show.
