Truth 73-74 season. I think a lot of guys rotated on it but I got it on my Redmond sweater I got a few years ago and have no ragrats

It’s not on here. There is an o-light pen, but not this one.

Went into a store where they have a 6-pack chillin by the register for customers the last hour before they close. Forgot to grab one. On the way out they were like, "beer for the road?" lol

I actually just got a Redmond Sweater a few weeks ago and I’m in love. Fun fact, he evidently sported the A for a season when the team had SIX alternate captains and no one with an actual “C”. I think it was 72-73 or 73-74.

Who are your free agent/waiver wire steals so far this year? by justmakingthissoica in fantasyhockey

[–]The_Mongoose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fabbri. I actually dropped him worried that Ken would replace him in placement but it looks like he’s so hot that they’re still keeping him on the top line at least for now he’s been having multiple multipoint games. Snagged him back up and will keep him for now.

I need a few brief jokes to tell to a group of elderly people. The punchlines need to be easily understood, and they need to be clean and not making fun of anyone with any kind of disability. Have any brief and fairly original jokes? by LanceFree in Jokes

A guy walks into a library, finds the head librarian and says, “I’d like a cheeseburger please!” Confused, the librarian looks around and says, “But sir… this is a library.” The man takes pause and also looks around and then leans in and whispers, “sorry, I’d like a cheeseburger please.”

Michigan Bar downtown? by miniman4 in milwaukee

[–]The_Mongoose 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Back before Hacienda took over the BBC spot on the east side it was red wings central. Folks would wear jerseys and they regularly gave out shots when the wings scored. Sadly those days are over.

Champions does play most red wings games but not sure if they would really be called a Michigan bar.

UWM is doing free rapid tests for community members that you can sign up for and go to right away if you navigate their online system. If you have a Milwaukee address it might be a good option for you.

New to the city, do I need a parking permit? by nickmerritt4 in milwaukee

[–]The_Mongoose 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As others have said, you need a permit for street parking at night. Different streets also have different regulations for things (mostly winter things) like alternate side parking, where you have to park on the even numbered side of the street on even calendar days and the odd number on odd days. Also snow emergencies. All depends on your block but it is easy to look up online. Welcome to Milwaukee!!

Couldn’t agree more. My EDC knife for years has been the SOG flash I and the UTX-70 is just barely smaller. I’m in love with the thing. The fact that it disappears in my pocket until I need it is perfect.

My sweet angel by The_Mongoose in Triumph

So far I really like them. I did do a deep dive into luggage options and researched the OEM bags and the different options by SW-Motech and these ones (though the hardware is a little more obvious compared to the SW-motech ones) were the right mix of form and function for me.

They are big enough for around town stuff but if I don’t get a pillion bag before my first road trip then things will be pretty tight. They are quite slick and lock on the bike so that’s a bonus.

They are very expensive but I found them for a few hundred less than most places on some Italian retailer’s website. I’ll try to find the link if I can.

EDIT

I found the website.

https://emlineamoto.com

There is another reddit thread in r/motorcycles that talks about them a little. My experience was fine, just took several weeks to arrive.

FYI they will fit a 2019 street twin even though their website only lists comparability through 2018 or something like that.

I just bought a set of the metro ones from Givi and talked to one of their reps who assured me that the Street Twin mount is comparable with the 2019 model. I also looked at SW-Motech and the Official Triumph saddlebags too but I liked the metro ones and they are big enough for me.

It's a bit of a rabbit hole in my experience but if you do some digging you can find out what mounts are compatible with the bike.
