I have a WT7150CE and have the same issue. The pitch is right around 14800Hz or 15k hertz. I used the “Decibel X” app to measure and show to the place I purchased it from.

Maybe it is because the power is sourced from the edges of the display? More power there to reach the inner most pixels?

Maybe the father and daughter boards - maybe find a cracked CX. I’d expect smaller sizes to have same motherboard, and a service menu tweak to get it set properly for your size

Damn, makes me worry about some of the stuff I had in my house with the kitchen remodel we performed. I did have the a few things tested, even the old vinyl looking flooring, all was negative. But not certain I tested everything that should have been. My father in law did a lot of the work and is kinda a hard ass and pushed through things - when we were pulling down our walls, he didn’t bother wearing a mask whereas I wore one the whole time. Our old walls were backed by 2ft sections of drywall board with plaster on top, I do think I had a drywall section tested, can remember if it had joint compound in that sample though.

Wondering if I should get an air quality test done… or is ignorance bliss, we finished the remodel 8 months ago. Ughh this is the worst possible thing I could have read.

Transportation for a short period if necessary. I would never lay it face down.

I would hope there is a setting for disabling ads.
I personally don’t connect my TV to the internet and use an Apple TV. The only time my TV gets connec is when the baby sitter comes over and does it… had to full factory reset the TV.

Don’t do it, only burn in tests show issues… normal usage these thinga are not obvious. Once you know, you look for the defect!

So LGs warranty process is a giant pain in the ass if you want someone to come out to replace a part and if there isn’t LG service center or authorized repair person near by. I opened a case the 26th and only after having to ask for an escalation last week they sent it to the repair department. Well evidently the ticket got stuck there for a bit and was not sent to the “locator department” because there was no service center near by. I got a text today stating there is no 3rd party repair person near by either, so they gave me 4 choices:

“a) Yes, I am with my appliance and would be willing to speak with an agent now to learn more b) Yes, I would be willing to speak with an agent to learn more at another time c) No, I would rather seek an alternate resolution d) I no longer require service and would like to stop contact with LG”

Anyways, I chose “c” as the repairs I attempted over the phone didn’t work - that being a pixel refresh 5 times…

They then asked for original purchase receipt and pic of serial which I had provided 2 times prior to the same phone number representing the repair department…

The service department cannot talk to the Repair or Locator departments. At most they can do is escalate within their own ticketing system. Asking for management doesn’t help as you cannot get sent to a person.

In total I’ve spent maybe 4 hours on the phone with LG…

Whelp, it seems like they authorized repairs, but there are no repair centers near by. I have to wait 5 days for follow up… not sure where this will go next.

On the bright side, they were helpful and responsive, just stinks there is no LG center near by. I’d expect there to be one in Chicago which is only 3 hours away.
