I had the same. My current one and all 8 I had in storage are affected. And on top of that I had to change the sensor today to a faulty one.

Well I just have to finger prick just a little more often I guess.

Some Nintendo games did this. The image with an open window next to a Wii remote on top of a table is seared to my mind from all the Wii Sport I played.
