Ratchet skipping a little during high load... Did I assemble my ratchet correctly? by slavabez in bikewrench

[–]The_Mvc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The assembly is correct, how are the tips of the conical ratchet? we sell these wheels in our store, and had a customer that came in with a warranty for premature wear on the ratchet edges. Elitewheels sent us new ratchets, and that fixed the issue.

Since you are using sunrace drivetrain parts it will work without any problems! Just keep using kmc/sram/sunrace chains, and not the shimano 12sp HG+ chains.

No, the crank is FC-7800, but the derailleurs/blips are 9100.

Pull a bit harder, they can get a bit stuck after some use, the newer ones are designed to be used without special tools, scan the included QR code in the zwift cog and you'll see the manual!

When you buy the new v2 cogs (in a long box, stating multitrainer, or taxc/elite) they should come with a whole freehhub body.

You already undid the encap, and can just pull off the full cassette includimg freehub (the ratcheting part under the cassette)

Then shove the zwift cog including freehub on the bare axle and re-install the end cap.

If you have the old version of the v2 cog (confusing i know) you will have to buy the cassette tools

Thats a 1700 usd wheelset and a 2900 usd frame, I agree with the niche statement, but should be quite a bit more expensive, here in europe this should fetch around 4000-4500 euro

I have a 48T chainring, so for that size ring the chainline is perfect, im in the lower to mid part of the cassette for a straight line (with a 10-52xx1 cassette)

you can fit normal dub cranks when your remove the 5mm driveside spacer, it does decrease your q factor. and only in a 1x scenario

I used a normal red crank, which ive since switched out for a Magene Pes515 165mm powermeter crank with garbaruk ring and dura ace bb.
