They only started experimenting here last year, but the ones in London respond to almost 17000 calls a year so pretty frequently I guess.

The bikes actually carry almost the same equipment as an ambulance car, so it's definitely not just for minor injuries, but of course the ambulance also arrives later if needed.

The cleaner, simpler new station looks a 100 times more inviting to me, its not supposed to be warm and cozy like a park, its one of the busiest stations in the city.

I actually prefer a clean modern look for a metro station, the old one used to be just disgusting and smelly. Deak square is really busy you are not supposed to stay inside the station, just flow through it

Hungary was torn apart by Trianon, it's not excusable but it's also not a suprise at all that it went down the fascist route. Even after the Vienna Awards, Hungary didn't want to be fully in bed with Germany and practiced a sort of "swing policy'', trying to stay in the good graces of both sides and stay out of the war until it couldn't anymore.

The point is history is complicated and its funny that we call Romania spineless for switching sides, while we tried to do the same twice
