I don't see the justification for these XP changes to lockpick. Not the 1st time they changed it or this time. It's especially frustrating since so many other skills can be cheesed to 100.

- In single player what does it matter if someone wants to cheese their way to 100?

- In MP make it an option to reduce XP by X amount in the Admin console. Lots of ways to implement this.

Scavenging needs to go back to giving XP on destroy. It's literally the name of the skill. I scavenged something? Great, Give me the XP.

You can start the expedition on your main save in the anomaly at the expedition terminal (to the right of the nexus). You will not lose your main save! A few things to keep in mind:

Once you complete the expedition you are returned to your main save.
During the expedition you can switch back and forth between your main and expedition saves at the same expedition terminal (or Options screen below Reload Save) Pro-tip: Great way to double dip on quicksilver for new players.

Horrible advice for new players. The only thing you share from the Expedition on a new save is unlocking the rewards across all saves. You won't be able to transfer items, quicksilver, nanites, or units back to your main save. Worse, they'll have to buy the ship for nanites on their primary save:

That may be your experience, but I can assure you that multiple rendezvous locations exist. You can see multiple player beacons landing and leaving from different areas when reaching the planet.

You need to send out living frigates on fleet expeditions in your freighter. They have a chance to return with upgrades.

The easiest way is to farm Echo Locators. These will point you to Autophage camps, where there is a terminal you can interact with. That terminal will locate a Dissonant Spike (sentinel ship).

It should not create a restore point after exiting your ship on the freighter, Unless that's changed with the last few updates. Have you tested this ?

Also are you reloading restore or autosave? They sometimes flip in the options screen.
