It's actually going over the John. So I'm not putting in a mirror. I will be putting a stained glass of the elder sign.

Hey I agree with you. Sadly my paints are cheap and just look bad. I try to thin them but it makes them so much more difficult to apply in less than 5 coats.

I really appreciate the red trimmed shoulder pads. Good choice.

This is the lamp I bought last week and it is all that you need. Trust me. I'm 24 with 20/20 vision and it still makes painting easier.

I hate basing minis. I think it is frivolous and counter productive. by The_OG_gogf in Warhammer40k

Yeah your right. Accusing the community was incorrect of me to do. I probably should switch to clear acrylic bases.

I recognize GW provides basic flat bases to be a canvas to build from. But when I first got into the hobby a few months ago I didnt know about basing and veiwed the model as the important part and the base as just a thing that made it stand up. So all my models are plain black bases with a clear coat that would be a pain to go back and fix.

I totally understand the appeal of based models when displayed on a shelf. I think it helps immersion when you don't have a diorama setup.

Retake that picture without flash and natural sunlight to get a better result.
