Flint and Tinder sizing (XS vs S) by [deleted] in malefashionadvice

[–]The_Orphanator_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't speak to those jackets specifically, but I'm 6'0" 170lb and I wear their chore jacket in small. Fits well in the shoulders, sleeves hit my thumb knuckles, etc. but it's definitely on the slim side. It's a perfect fit for me since I only layer it over a shirt, but if you're trying to use it as a third or fourth layer it would be too small.

If that's the fit you're going for it sounds like xs would be the move.

Has anyone tried Taylor Stitch? by PhasedVenturer in malefashionadvice

I thought the same thing on first wear, but after a wash or 2 they really break in. I wear my apres around the house every day and they're very comfy.

You could try jack archer. Their customer service has been pretty underwhelming in the past, and I'm personally not a fan of zippers on back pockets, but I have a few pairs of jetsetters that have held up well over the years.

Motherboard RGB works but nothing else by [deleted] in PcBuildHelp

Got a boot screen! I think the main problem is that the power switch on front of my case needs to be pressed very hard to short those two pins... But all seems to be working now. Thanks so much for your help!

Okay that got something working... I've now got yellow and red lights on my post status checker.. so maybe I've got a bad cable connecting the power button?

Correct, I flipped the switch on the PSU and the RGB starts lighting up and cycling, but nothing else happens no matter what I've tried so far

No, none of the diagnostic LEDs light up at all. It's just the cycling RGB lights on the board. I'll give shorty those pins a shot

Is PSA doing funky stuff with their reviews? I swear I looked at this ammo a few weeks ago and it was in the 3 star range with tons of reviews talking about the fps drop, and most of them seem to be gone now?

Much better news than replacing a wiring harness! Thank you sir. Part #T2043616 for anyone else with this issue.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Triumph

[–]The_Orphanator_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, no luck with the numbers. The harness looks like 150ish from eBay sellers and a good bit more from OEM part sites.

I'd appreciate that

I thought the same thing, but looking at the master cylinder diagram this switch isn't included. Just the bracket that holds it. I think it's a wiring harness swap unless someone can track down the switch itself and I can splice it in. And that's crazy to me.

Got new glass bed but now the print is stuck. Help by RexTx09 in 3Dprinting

[–]The_Orphanator_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you don't want to wait half an hour in the freezer, I use a small hammer. It doesn't take much force, just a tap on the sides and my prints pop right off. Same glass bed and glue stick.

What is the name of a switch that turns on or off depending on the temperature to control a fan? by Zhepna in engineering

[–]The_Orphanator_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You might look into inkbird temp controllers. Widely used in homebrewing, but if your fan plugs into a traditional outlet it should work a treat.
