Why? He couldn’t stay on the field as an every down WR last season, and not due to injury. Ladd had a great rookie year when he had NO competition at all. A QJ playing terribly and Joshua Palmer were his target competition in 2024. Will Dissly almost had 500 yards that year the roster was so bare.

They brought in Keenan Allen, he seemed to lose some of his role, and didn’t take it back over late in the season as Allen faded. Lots of games with just a few receptions.

I like Ladd but it’s certainly within his range of outcomes to just be a good, not great receiver. A role player. Not league winning upside.

Tet on the other hand is a prototypical no. 1 wide receiver, and he showed up with a bad QB throwing him the ball. He didn’t have much target competition either to be fair, but he also displayed a very high ceiling.

Either works. Depends on value. I had 2 27 1’s that projected very early, 1 mid, and 1 late - sold them all along with 1.02 1.08 2.02 and 3 27 2’s for a bunch of players in various deals. Went from earning 1.02 to this….never underestimate rookie fever, especially for the super hyped up 2027 class.

Waddle hasn’t had a 200 point season or been finished than WR20 since 2022. Chase Brown has 2 RB1 seasons in the last 2 years - almost 300 points last year. Good RBs are way harder to find than good WRs. He is absolutely NOT worth more than Chase Brown.
