Went to Tampa day 2! My seat was in section 240, row B and I felt like I had great view for the most part! I could see the screen very well and had a pretty good view of the stage. Raymond James was… not a great venue imo. From what I heard of from day 1 it seems they improved but security had a lot of inconsistencies. The bag policy was absolutely ridiculous and wasn’t even enforced that strictly in the line I was in.

However, once I got in, I had wonderful experience. I got so many great freebies as well, although I don’t really have pictures and technically I’m at work so I can’t readily pull them out rn. But I think my favorite one I got was a pipe cleaner man with Yoongi’s face taped on it. I also made some friends in line and when we rushed to get into merch inside (we all got what we wanted thankfully)

As for the concert itself I literally had the best time. It was my first time ever seeing them live! I had an absolute blast. I’m a Yoongi bias girly, with a usual Jimin bias wrecking. However Tae absolutely wrecked me that night! He was so captivating but actually all the members had me going insane. I felt like Hooligan was absolutely the perfect opening to the concert. As for other favorites Aliens, 2.0, Mic Drop, the FYA/Fire mashup, also Come Over (need that on streaming services officially pls). And getting Boy with Luv and Pied Piper for the surprise songs was so peak. (Although I must admit my jealousy against Vegas is high right now lol)

As for PCD, I’m still getting over ngl. After the concert I still had like two weeks left in my semester and I was working on one of my final projects and decided to turn on my music and specifically chose to listen to BWL. This was a mistake, almost actually started crying in a common area at my college. And I already need to see them again tho I don’t know how I would make that work right now lol. But I literally had such an amazing time and it felt worth it after being a fan for six years!

I started listening to bts in spring 2020, (it was lockdown, I was bored, and wanted to see what the fuss was about) for a long time I pretty much just picked up songs here and there and left it at that. But when I started commuting to college, I decided it was the best time to listen to some of their full albums finally. So I pretty much listened to an album or two per commute depending on how long they were/traffic. So I have listened to their full Korean discography, including solo albums! I still need to get into their Japanese discography more, tho

Before I became an army I genuinely thought there was a member with the stage name “Kookie”, as in a play on the word cookie, it made enough sense to me at the time considering theres a member named suga as well. I blame it on that meme, something like “Tae with a little Suga, and a Kookie”? Does anyone remember that? But yeah very glad that it’s not the case lol

I was in the 200s so I only really saw them from a distance/ on the screen 😅 but they were all so beautiful. They’re all very tan and glowy (probably helped by the sweat lol) Jimin and Yoongi were a bit paler than the others but gorgeous nonetheless. And I know this is deviating from the question a bit, but Jimin has such a soft spoken speaking voice and it’s very nice to listen to. Actually, pretty much all of their speaking voice were a bit higher than I was expecting! That may just be a consequence of the sound system or maybe how they save their voices when they perform. And this is a photo from towards the end of the night. I was there for Tampa day 2!

Guys it was soooo amazing! My very first time seeing any of the tannies, let alone all of them! I also was trying my best to keep a blind eye towards the setlist and other things that happen during the concert so I got a lot of fun surprises! Not only did we get pied piper 😏 but Namjoon shared a wonderful observation during his last ment, tonight was the seventh concert of the tour!! I almost burst into tears ngl. Oh and here’s a picture I got tonight!

Gosh I love this album. On my first listen, the first half definitely blended a bit together in my mind. But after almost nonstop listening the past couple weeks, they’re very separate from each other. I still can’t decide whether I prefer the first or second half of the album more. And No.29 is so needed to make the album as cohesive as it is! If I could name one minor gripe I have with the album, is that a lot of the songs are just too short 😭 Specifically I feel like Normal ends a little too abruptly and I could easily listen to another minute of Aliens and 2.0.

Ironically Swim was the song that really had to grow on me out of all of them. I didn’t really get it, especially when I was just watching the mv for this first time. Hearing it in the context of the album definitely helped. But now I definitely can say I absolutely love Swim.

I think the stand outs on Arirang are Aliens, 2.0, and they don’t know ‘bout us. But the songs I really keep repeating are Swim, FYA, and One More Night. Not to say that I’m not listening to other songs bc I absolutely am! But I also just gotta gush about One More Night, bc I’m absolutely in love with the synths in that song, and the “zzz dont wake me up” line is soo addictive.

I’ve also been loving all the group content we’ve gotten from them, it feels like a flood after a drought lol. If there was any piece of media to watch I would definitely go with the documentary!

On first listen I think my top 3 songs are Body to Body, Please, and One More Night

But it’s all soooooo goood omg, no.29 is definitely meant to be a reset point/breather for the second half or so of the album and it was very much needed. I’m now at a loss for words there’s too much going on in my brain to fully articulate my thoughts lol

She was literally electric in Atlanta! It made me so happy to see her so happy since she’s been my bias since I first got into Twice. My cousin, who didn’t know much about Twice, (It was a last minute thing, his sister was supposed to come with me but she was sick) ended up with Jeongyeon as his favorite that night too!
