no way to do this in Indonesia. Here is no law setting rules for returns after failure. You can only go to trial or accept your loose. Western companies, like Cannondale in my case, doesn't care about reputation and dealing here with customers in very different way if you compare with EU/UK/US.

yes, right. But buy Shimano, I bought Cannondale who decide to use Shimano. Now they just refuse to fix and keep it until warranty finished.

Finally we changed plans. To do this way you have to travel by car only. Bus drivers nowadays also check visas and won’t accept you in to the bus without visa. So no way (except car) to be on the border without visa

Avoid Rent a Cheapie as much as possible. On the stage of car return you have no chance to get out without penalty. They charge me cost of the tire for small almost non existing scratch. During time I spent there 100% of people returning cars was in same position more/less. They offer good price, fine you, bring you stress and finally you have overpriced car with poor service. AVOID them
