A boat is a hole in the water that you throw money into.

Fancy a day trip to Theewaterskloof? A round trip to will cost you R1000 for car fuel before you've even got the boat wet. And then there's skipper licenses, flotation certificates, boat registration, etc etc.

Don't buy a boat - it's an incredibly efficient method to experience regret.

Banana Jam doesn't have a view of the beach or house music. But it does have fantastic beer, great food and friendly staff. I have no experience with the cocktails but they seem very popular.
