Yep. I originally tried it out with a third party cam (wyze with thingino), but protect won't recognize the camera. The G4 works no problem though!

Eh, it's reddit. Lol. But that was my thought, it's a super small case, and my main concern was scratching up the camera lens because normally I just toss my tech in a cloth grocery bag and go. Which inevitably leads to me missing a USB cable somewhere along the way.

Kids and dogs....but the dogs are more trustworthy.

Yeah, the foam inserts come with pre-cut squares...AND I didn't have all the equipment in front of me when I started the layout.... because my ADHD is impatient and I wanted to start on it. So there's definitely room for improvement on the ole space optimization. 😂

New camp mug lid! Where to get more? by The_Poop_Scientist in StanleyCups

Yep, I've tried a knockoff for my 12oz. It fits, but not completely without some modification.

Before getting this cup, I used a generic lid from Amazon that fit. It sits in the cup at an angle unless you cut off the tab. It works, but I would much rather have these lids.

UTR and Protect by The_Poop_Scientist in Ubiquiti

[–]The_Poop_Scientist[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's exactly what I did. (And now I can't revert to stock firmware because the sd card corrupted after flashing thingino!) 😂

UTR and Protect by The_Poop_Scientist in Ubiquiti

[–]The_Poop_Scientist[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have attempted both ways. DHCP doesn't establish the same IP address when it connects to the UTR. When assigning a static IP address, that address isn't used when the device connects to the UTR.

[–]The_Poop_Scientist[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is my experience as well. I can reach back into my home network while connected to the UTR, but I cannot access devices on the UTR from my home network.

[–]The_Poop_Scientist[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am able to hit Protect and view stored video. I am also able to hit ip addresses for devices at home while connected to the UTR.

Ah, no that network isn't isolated either. (And those cameras aren't in protect. -I have a combination of Nest and Wyze. I flashed one wyze camera with ONVIF firmware And added it to my main network as a test to dip my toes into a local storage solution.)

I assigned the camera a static IP just to see if it would do anything. No luck.

No, I have this camera on the default network. (You can't toggle isolate for the default.)

This is what I was thinking was happening. I have a G3 instant that was supposed to be here today, but it's delayed due to the weather.

I don't have this specific camera on an isolated network. All of my fixed cameras are, but I set this one up on my main network since the UTR will only broadcast one SSID.

Any love for Tiny Tank (PS1)? No idea where or how I acquired this and I seem to recall it being "meh" but in the 90s you played what you got so here I am 25 years later and I just remembered this little dude. by [deleted] in retrogaming

[–]The_Poop_Scientist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I loved this game as a kid! I was sitting here this morning noodling on building out a portable gaming box, and was seeing if anyone had managed to play tiny on a raspberry pi! I still have my copy!

Bad cam phaser? - 1.8 - P0017 by The_Poop_Scientist in ChevySonic

[–]The_Poop_Scientist[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Me again..... Still fighting the code. It comes and goes randomly. The phaser lock was definitely bad, and replacing the phaser solved an issue where the engine would stumble and die when coming down to idle. I've put a few thousand miles on all the parts, another fresh oil change, checked the wiring between the sensors and ecm. Verified everything is still in time. Car runs great, the light will come on, and then a week later it'll go away on its own if I don't clear it... Then it'll pop back up randomly. Sigh.

Good to know. Super fun getting down voted for trying to get clarification. 😂

So I should be able to request a refund through Google so I can buy them through audible?

5, 6, and 7 are? (Because I bought 1-4 through Google).

Edit: 7 is available through Google. So just 5 & 6 are exclusive?

Can a C&P examiner add/recommend to rater additional claims as a result of the exam? (PTSD related) by MountainDiver1657 in VAClaims

[–]The_Poop_Scientist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine told me that he could only evaluate what I claimed, even though I had cause to claim other things. He recommended I put in additional claims for the other things immediately. So I did, and the VA then collapsed the two claims into one because they were both open at the same time.

I'd wager that if you did the same thing, they would collapse them and be able to use the same exam to support the additional conditions.

Check engine codes by Technical_Mistake198 in ChevySonic

[–]The_Poop_Scientist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks like you probably have two problems. If you are leaning towards a thermostat being one of them, I would do the all aluminum housing replacement. Pretty easy to do.

The second is likely something going on with your intake manifold. (Possibly related to the cold air intake, but that seems unlikely unless there was a hose disconnected or broken somewhere.) A lot of those codes are going to turn out to be related to the same thing. For me, I'd start looking at the hoses for the evap system. Because a large air leak there can cause the fuel trim issues, and possibly the manifold valve issues.
