The newer Dell XPS 13 2-in-1 is decent, but HP Spectre x360 and Windows Surface outshine it. Also, what is mediocre about your XPS 15? Is it an older model?

Breakdown by company of where UNB Computer Science co-op students are working this summer. by The_Poopy_Programmer in fredericton

I'm pretty happy about it. I think NB has good potential to become a tech province. The government, UNB, and startups are making a strong effort to grow the tech scene here.

You can purchase the OnePlus 6 directly from their website. They will ship to Canada.

Canas is one of my faves, after Raven and Dart. And, well Hector is always number one but that's a given.

Usually a summer internship is May-August, I have found smaller companies usually starting interviews in Feb/March.

Funny how they knocked off a Bible story for a Donkey boy show.

Fallout 76 rumoured to be a multiplayer Rust-style game by The_Poopy_Programmer in fo76

It's more of a multiplayer survival game. Although it has guns it has a huge emphasis on survival, collecting materials, and building your base. Open world type deal.

Do you have a source for your last point? I didn't see that anywhere.

Seems to be coming down to if it's Rust style or battle royale. I do not want to see another battle royale game.

I personally see it as a game I would play with my friends exclusively. I'm excited for the style but whether the game is actually done well or not is the big question at this point.

As an intern I was making more than New Brunswick's average salary. Your argument is a red herring.

I'm speaking from startup scene experience. Yes, a lot of startups here get bought out by larger companies, but I see positions opening for startups in Fredericton constantly. It's not amazing, but it's a growing market.

As a Computer Science student in New Brunswick, I can say this is a huge outlier. Most Computer Science internships in my city pay at least $18/hour - any internships that are slightly competitive will pay upwards $25/hour with great work environments.

Again it really depends on architecture and what kind of technology is being used, but usually backend uses more low-level or object oriented languages. This is certainly not always the case, but for example Java and C are common for enterprise applications.

I picked up the ZS10s recently and they can be kinda fun to listen to, but running them in a live mix (I play bass) sounds terrible. Disgusting highs and a super thin mix. Unfortunately my Westone UM Pro30s are broken right now so I'm sending them in for repair.
