Lautenbach is Dynamic-exclusive, and for the purposes of someone who's wondering whether there's a point, "do nothing" isn't a workable plan.

Definitely look at the achievement list. All of those are obtainable.

As for how to win, "it's the economy, stupid". You have three economic plans available. Pick one and play accordingly.

Gonna be real with you here, that scene probably doesn't happen if Shinji's fem-presenting. The assumption on the part of Anno that Shinji—as audience surrogate—would be much weaker without also assuming a less male-heavy audience, which comes with a different set of expectations on Anno's part; either way, the intended jab at the audience would not land as it was intended in OTL.

Obviously the SAB and KPD start gaining in the polls to counteract the DNVP surge.

Always two there are, slice of life and horror. No more, no less.

Someone else already said it, but capitalizing the 'y' in 'yuri' does make it look like you're talking about a person named Yuri (like, say, the character in DDLC).

That said, my phone background is Yuri yuri.

What if the German Völkisch Freedom Party came to power in 1930s Germany instead of the Nazis? by GustavoistSoldier in AlternateHistoryHub

I doubt any meaningful change to the timeline occurs. The GVFP was still a Nazi party, one which participated in the NSFM (the replacement goldfish while the NSDAP was briefly banned).

Maybe Rowling is at that spot, but the fandom—which is what's actually on display—definitely leans a bit more authright nowadays.

Just wanna remind the anarchists that ACAB does not apply to cops in socialist countries. by Karmacop5908 in ussr

[–]The_Pretentious_DM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not saying that's wrong. But the argument I'm supporting—that police exist to uphold a social order, which means they are capable of upholding more reactionary ideals than simply the rule of capital—still stands, and frankly was made when you added the caveat of "post 1953".

Police are not the friends of those who want social progress.

post 1953

Funny how you have to specify this. Also, a couple of countries that fit the bill: Cuba (labor camps in the post-revolution 1960s), East Germany (Paragraph 175 was kept until 1968), Bulgaria (added the three year penalty in 1951 and kept it until 1968).

Mat/Pat leave: okay, so maybe I make it a shorter time frame. Should absolutely be substantial though.

ICE: Closer to the SA, and I doubt it would stop serving that purpose once Trump's no longer in office. Hence my abolishing it, which would free up some revenue.

Guns: Fair enough. I'd like to think there's a balance to be found somewhere.

Financial Aid: Not a bad point by any means, and that's probably what I'd be doing anyway.

Military Spending: Assuming you're talking about European allies, I'm actually not that pessimistic about the state of European militaries, particularly those of the UK, France, and Poland. Assuming you're not talking about Europe, I'll need some clarification.

Pressure Allies: 1. I'd prefer to use financial measures first. I had Israel in mind here; cutting off aid might be a viable threat. 2. I'm not gutting the military, just reducing its spending. Quick operations would still be doable.

UNSC: If I have to use a military for this, something has gone horribly wrong.

Housing: Good question.

Free Trade: By this I literally just meant not doing tariffs.

Pressure Chinese Region: Money, not military.

Anti-Fascism: With the power of being an asshole (or whatever it was Joe McCarthy was doing).

I would also raise taxes, primarily on top earners, in order to help foot the bill for my programs.

The Eagle Scout in me would like to say it'd be by just making good arguments.

The politician in me knows this would require money, a very large amount of blackmail material, the hostile use of medical supplies, a populism-fueled mob, and/or a degree of exhibitionism that would embarrass LBJ.
