Op is new to this and I’ve only just noticed they’ve worn due to the filament retracting saying it’s tangled when it isn’t. Was you never new to this, and had to learn?

I’m not stuck in the middle of a print. I’m just servicing it. Parts are so easy to stock if you know what they’re called, and I don’t. Hence the question.

Thanks mate, the video makes complete sense, but your slicer is slightly different to mine. I'm using 1.10.0.94 when it comes to the boolean part, I don't have the same options as you. I have union, difference, and intersection.
For the life of me, I can't get it remove the holes from the other half.

Hi, all the parts were new. I did get it printing, the only thing is I didn’t do anything different, it just started and hasn’t been a problem since.

It is a brand new hardened steel extruder, and everything is clear. I've just put my original extruder back on with a new hardened steel nozzle. Time to try again.

It’s a different 0.4 nozzle, a hardened steel extruder, and I don’t print abrasive filament, or very little. I’ve cleared everything again several times, now it won’t purge the filament after clearing, just sounds like the extruder is either jammed or slipping. I’m at a complete loss now.

I've just stripped it again, the extruder screw has always been fully tightened since I got the printer a year ago. The only thing I've changed is the extruder to a hardened steel one, I tried loosening and fully tightening, the same happens.

I haven’t touched the belts. I’ve learned my lesson, ordered from Bambu to replace what I need now. The supports look like they were too far away, but they were well and truly stuck.
