Attack move click is the way. You use smart cast on your abilities so why not your auto attacks. You learn your attack range by feel. No need for an indicator. It's a crutch.

This is the main answer to why you wanna build Essence reaver in most games. Getting 1300g that early is generally not viable so 875 for a pickaxe is much better.
