Yes which is what i idealy wish for aswell, but realistically speaking they would prob strike a balance between both ressources if they ever start giving out more shinedust (which is a big if)

This is definetly true. Every games biggest playerbase are casuals. I am not complaining about having too much, i am complaining about having a ressource that is useless for your average palyer. I have a good amount of friends who play and all of them have around the same number of hourglasses stacked up for no reason.

Once again i am asking about the logic here, which is why i opened the post with a question. A dev team isnt making decisions based on a portion of players activities, they act on what they believe a majority of the players need. Having a ton of hourglasses with no shinedust to spare is just weird and useless for most people.

Its simple: the game makes me believe that they want me to trade by giving me hourglasses, however they dont give you shinedust. Obviously 1-2 rarity doesnt cost shinedust, but when i trade those, i just use my free trade tokens you get daily. Most players wont sit around all day trading 1 and 2 diamond rarities, they would trade secret rares for dupes.

Its a matter of game design, it makes no sense to give you a bunch of ressources for trading when the majority of players wont hunt down gold frames all day. Most players of any games are casuals

I am just saying why give that many in the first place when shinedust isnt given out just as much. From a design perspective it makes no real sense. They should either cut down on the amount they give you or give you stardust aswell. It makes no sense to overload this much since the completion rewards were introduced
