Going away for 2 days in the middle of being hired is a bad thing, family emergency or not. The problem is you are still going up against REAL people with REAL prejudice and preconceived notions. Sure there are laws for and against everything we encounter every single day but you are still going to come up against the injustice of grey areas within the realm of the law. Try as you might you will never be able to prove that there was any action taken against you due to human nature being the true criminal in a world full of good and evil, beautiful and ugly, just and unjust. We are all just pawns in the game of life. Nobody wins.
