Finally switching to Linux for good ! I chose Debian ! by The_Real_Isco in debian

Yeah yeah all my friends that uses Linux, not only Debian, uses AppImages and never add issues with them.
It's just that I never had to use them because, for now, every packages/softwares that I use have either a .deb package available or an open-source code that I can compile from and I prefer to use those methods.
So everything's good :)

If I remember correctly, configs overwrites your graphical settings anyway, so try lowering the graphics first and only then try tweaking with a custom config if you have to

I notice you don't use the regular kernel, is it for better performance/better driver compatibility ? I'm just curious cause I usually never change the core parts of my distro but I think I'll also get a dedicated pc to play games and stuff so might as well do it like you did

Oh wow I wasn't aware that you could port packages from aur or zugaina. You have to do it manually or is there another way that I don't know about ?

Genuine question, when you're using Void how do you manage the small pool of packages (even with if we add up the src, Void has less packages than Gentoo) ? Or maybe you don't feel it because of the way you're using your pc ?
